Step 1. Intake. Send the spec.

Put six things in the email. Target GSM (or the garment weight you are currently matching). Composition preference, if you have one. Your colorway list. The garment category (leggings, sports bra, brief, swim bottom, tee). Target units for the first run. Ship window.
If you only have three of the six, send three. An incomplete spec is still a faster start than a discovery call. What we cannot work from is "tell me about your fabric," because the answer to that depends entirely on what you are making.
Step 2. Chemistry match.
Kelvin's team confirms the construction can hit your spec on the OHZEHN-TEX platform, quotes the GSM band, and flags any surcharge for color count or finish.
This is the step most fabric suppliers skip, and it is why brands lose a season. The platform runs from 150 to 320 GSM. Not every construction is available at every weight, and not every finish is compatible with every construction. If your spec calls for a 190 GSM warp knit with a specific hand, we say yes or no before you have spent anything.
The output of this step is a written quote against the pricing chart: your GSM, your construction, your per-yard number against the $15.50 per yard baseline at 220 GSM, and any surcharge. Step 3. Sample round.
$200 when the construction is already in stock. That covers fabric yardage plus two garment samples. $1,500 when your spec needs a custom machine run at the mill.
What arrives: sample yardage in your target GSM and construction, plus (on the $200 path) two sewn garment samples so your patternmaker and your fit model both get a read, not just your hands.
What to do with it. Run the bench before you run the PO. Elongation and residual growth on your actual construction. Minimum ten wash cycles at consumer conditions, re-measured at cycle five and cycle ten. Seam integrity on cover-stitch and flatlock joins. For swim, colorfastness under chlorine and perspiration. Step 4. License and first production.
