Dougie Taylor is co-founder of Ohzehn Group LTD and the driving force behind the OHZEHN-TEX™ licensed-ingredient textile platform. His work sits at the intersection of performance materials science and vertical manufacturing. He splits time between Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Fuzhou, Fujian Province, where four Ohzehn-owned factories handle end-to-end production of the OHZEHN-TEX™ fabric platform.
Background
Before OHZEHN-TEX™, Dougie co-built Taylor Chip alongside Sara Taylor. The brand reached Inc. 5000 status as a recognized fast-growth company. Sara Taylor was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree through that partnership. The direct-to-consumer experience at Taylor Chip, operating with speed and constraint, shaped the operating philosophy Dougie brought into the manufacturing world.
The move into textiles started with a question about why forward-thinking apparel brands still had no reliable route to verified plant-derived performance fabric. Every sustainable brand was either greenwashing recycled polyester or doing expensive custom materials development from scratch. The licensed-ingredient model, proven in other material categories, had not been applied here. OHZEHN-TEX™ is the answer to that gap.
Role at Ohzehn Group LTD
Dougie leads licensing partnerships, platform strategy, and brand relationships for OHZEHN-TEX™. He is the point of contact for apparel brands evaluating the fabric platform, the licensing model, and end-to-end manufacturing options. He also oversees the Fuzhou factory relationships and the quality control program behind the per-batch testing standard that backs every OHZEHN-TEX™ claim.
Ohzehn Group LTD is incorporated in Hong Kong, with US operations run through Ohzehn LLC in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The group-wide thesis: own the supply chain, not just the brand. Four owned factories in Fuzhou are the structural backbone of that position.
