Plant-Derived Performance Fabric OHZEHN-TEX™ Clears OEKO-TEX 100 and GRS v4.0 Verification, Opens Licensing Program to Apparel Brands

LANCASTER, PA. and FUZHOU, CHINA — June 23, 2026

Ohzehn Group LTD today opened licensing of OHZEHN-TEX™, a plant-derived performance textile platform, to apparel and home-textile brands. The fabric finished production verification in December 2025 and is now cleared for commercial licensing across activewear, intimates, basics, lingerie, swimwear, bedding, hospitality, and loungewear. The platform is positioned as a Gore-Tex-style ingredient brand for the plastic-free era.

OHZEHN-TEX is built from agricultural feedstock. Castor beans feed the castor-oil polyamide route. Corn dextrose feeds the fermentation route into bio-based caprolactam and sebacic acid. Straw cellulose feeds the cellulosic route. The biomass is converted into polymer through fermentation and green chemistry, then melt-spun through a steel spinneret, flattened, punctured, and quenched in an air stream into draw-textured yarn. The yarn is knit, dyed, and finished in-house at four Ohzehn-owned facilities in Fuzhou, China.

The process is finished without PFAS, BPA, silver-based antimicrobials, formaldehyde-based finishes, heavy-metal dyes, or phthalates.

A compliance stack built for B2B buyers, not consumer marketing

Most plastic-free fabric claims trade on aesthetic or single-test data. OHZEHN-TEX ships with the compliance stack a Tier-1 retail buyer audits before a purchase order is signed:

The fabric meets the regulatory threshold buyers ask about by name: REACH, SVHC, POP, and GB 18401. It is PFAS-free ahead of the upcoming UK, EU, and Australian microplastic-restriction rules.

In-house testing follows AATCC, ISO, and GB methods, with specific test reports on file for AATCC 135 (dimensional stability), AATCC 61, 8, 15, 81, 106, 107 (colorfastness and pH), ASTM D4964 (stretch and recovery), and ASTM D3786 (bursting strength).

Our compliance team was built on the synthetic side first. Every method we use to certify OHZEHN-TEX is a method we already used to certify polyester knits to PVH spec. An ingredient brand, not a direct-to-consumer brand

OHZEHN-TEX licenses to apparel companies as an ingredient brand. Brands incorporate the fabric into their own product lines and place the "OHZEHN-TEX™ Inside" identifier on hangtags, packaging, and product detail pages, under a written license. Ohzehn Group LTD does not sell finished garments at retail.

The licensing structure includes brand usage rules, an Approved Claim Matrix mapped to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Green Guides and Endorsement Guides, a defect-classification protocol mapped to AQL 2.5 inspection, an audit framework that protects the certifications listed above, and an indemnification structure for licensor-supplied marketing copy.

Manufacturing footprint

Ohzehn Group LTD operates four owned facilities in Fuzhou, China, covering knitting, dyeing, finishing, and quality assurance. U.S. operations route through Ohzehn LLC, a Pennsylvania entity wholly owned by Ohzehn Group LTD. The licensing platform is staffed from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Fuzhou.
